It’s all about Live Music and the Artists who dedicate their lives to writing and performing. The live concert component of the show is filmed at the Fat City Music Hall at Two Fish Studios. Designed as a recording and film studio first, this vintage church built in 1870 boasts of beautiful stained glass and an expansive performance hall and sound stage. It provides the ultimate atmosphere for both the live concerts and intimate artist interviews. The facility itself, Two Fish Studios, has been a recording and film studio for almost 15 years, working with a variety of music clients including Joan Osborne, The Roots, the Dixie Chicks, Los Lobos, Leo Kotke and countless other amazing recording artists. A key element of the show involves getting a personal glimpse inside the artists’ lives. It is here where we discover intimate insight on the struggles behind the remarkable stories that each of these artist have sustained. We call it “the Curse of the Blessed”.
